Nigerian gospel singer, Dele Agbeyo has been buried.
Recall that the late singer popularly called Dele Gold passed away on September 11 after a brief illness.
According to TheCable, the burial ceremony, attended by prominent figures, took place at his residence in Abule Egba, Lagos.
Some notable persons spotted at the event were Saidi Balogun, the Nollywood actor, and Genesis, the gospel singer.
Family and friends paid their last respects to the singer during the lying-in-state.
Abimbola Otusanya, the singer鈥檚 colleague at DAAR Communications service, described him as a 鈥済enerous giver鈥 at the burial ceremony. She also recalled how he helped her during her trying time.
鈥淗e was a friend and brother to the house. All through the period he was with DAAR, he was always present,鈥 Otusanya said.
鈥淪ometimes, he will release his equipment for us. He was a generous giver. On a personal note, he is a friend in 2017.
鈥淚 had surgery and I needed to travel to Ibadan, Dele gave me a car that took me to my family at no cost.鈥
The cleric, who officiated the ceremony, also disclosed that the singer 鈥渘ever charged to perform at churches鈥.
鈥淒ele Gold made an impact with God. Dele did not accept a dime from any church to perform. He used all he owned to serve God,鈥 he said.
Gold鈥檚 children and wife were at the graveside as the singer was lowered to the grave.
The singer, known as The Miliki Gospel King, was a native of Usi, Ekiti state, but grew up in Faforiji, Osun state.
